Job Description

Responsible for supporting and/or management of digital products, services, platforms, experience or strategy as well as supporting industry analysis and research. Could also assist in the development of a product or Digital Banking strategy. This includes working with relevant business partners to create the design, development, implementation, marketing, and ongoing support. Ensures any projects, products, or services follow the existing processes and procedures of the department. Includes working with other departments in synthesizing data and insights to inform strategy.
Create documentation, review with business partners, and gain approvals in accordance with the department's processes and procedures.
Write business requirements.
Help to facilitate design and customer journey mapping sessions.
Manage resolution of any customer escalations for product or service.
Help coordinate marketing and communication strategies related to the product or project.
Understand and manage product risk. Includes all phases a product may be in and all pillars of risk.
Lead analysis and market research for product or service.
Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
Complete other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree
Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in digital, marketing, product management, financial, operations and/or project management
Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Experience with process mapping or customer journey mapping
Knowledge how to write technical and business documentation
Experience working on digital technology projects
Previous financial services industry experience
