Job Description

Basic Function:

Provide work leadership over a business unit work team requiring highly specialized knowledge of the products, regulations and policies pertaining to the department.  Will performing work of both a routine and non-routine nature and requiring independent judgment.  Perform the most highly specialized duties within the unit.  Position will be responsible for process documentation/improvement, training initiatives, facilitating process improvements and researching and resolving highly specialized and/or sensitive issues for multiple business lines.


Position Responsibilities:

•  May complete the following:

o  Lead business unit work teams with responsibility for multiple businesses and product lines.

o  Monitor work flows and serve as liaison between unit and management.

o  Interpret loan and bank documents for internal processing, through analysis of circumstances and document recommended action steps to management.

o  Position may be responsible for process improvement initiatives including documentation, training and implementation.

o  Interact with other departments to include Corporate Compliance, Risk and Legal in regard to customer issues.

o  Research and resolve complex internal and external customer issues. Act as department lead for special projects.

o  Complete and/or facilitate special projects as assigned by manager.

o  Facilitate process innovation teams.

o  Maintain databases/spreadsheets and complete daily, weekly and monthly departmental reporting.

o  Support the process and procedures requirements.

o   Assist with on-going training and team development needs.

•  Perform other projects as assigned by management.



Basic Qualifications:

•  High School or GED Required

•  Minimum 3 years work experience

•  Proven PC skills with a strong focus on Excel. 

•  Complex problem solving abilities and math skills. 

•  Demonstrates leadership skills including decisiveness and strong interpersonal skills.

•  Ability to work under minimal supervision and displays very strong communication skills.

•  Highly organized with the ability to multi-task. 

•  Excellent customer service skills with the ability to use tact and diplomacy. 

•  Ability to work in a team environment. 

•  Very strong work ethic, reliable and flexible.


Ideal Qualifications:

•  College Degree preferred along with four or more years of supervisory experience.

•  Solid knowledge of MSP/Black Knight mortgage servicing system preferred.

•  Highly specialized knowledge of products, regulations and policies as required by the business unit.
