Job Description


Act as the primary contact for new customer set-ups, inbound customer calls/inquiries, and solving problems for all supported Cash Management Services’ products, utilizing excellent oral and written communication skills.


This position will work closely with the CVS Group Leader/Manager to support high profile Cash Vault customers. Receive incoming customer / branch calls using excellent customer service and telephone skills. Answer queries and resolve customer issues using related software and appropriate documentation. Work directly with 3rd party processing vendor, product managers, sales representatives and Cash Management operational staff to resolve product issues, customer problems and inquiries.

Support special services requests for select commercial customers such as special currency orders, late orders, specialized reporting and seasonal or event related support services.

Work directly with branch staff, internal departments and risk analysts to solve branch issues relating to currency orders/shipments and strap differences for all M&T branch network

Required to obtain an in-depth knowledge for all Cash Vault offered services. Responsible for the successful onboarding of new Cash Vault customers by ensuring timely, accurate and thorough customer setup processing.

Perform review and approval of work product from Customer Service Group staff

Support the Customer Service Group by taking ownership of escalated customer issues.

Participates in department projects as needed


Associates degree and 2 years customer service experience or equivalent work experience.   Excellent oral and written communication skills. Troubleshooting and problem solving in a fast-paced environment. Must be flexible with the ability to interact with clients, peers and management in a professional manner. Extensive personal computer skills a must.


Banking systems and cash management experience a plus.

Strong analytical skills

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office

Excellent knowledge of HOGAN, SAR, CTA, CRM, TMAH, VeriTrak and Outlook
