Basic Function:
Responsible for managing the design, deployment and monitoring of various employee-facing communications channels for the Retail Banking Division, which includes the following groups: Branch Network, Retail Performance Enablement, Retail Project Office, Retail Risk, Account Opening Program and Customer Delivery.  
Also supports communications and events created for/delivered by senior division leadership.

Essential Position Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and design of communications roadmaps and messaging targeting segmented populations of Retail Banking Division employees, most notably the 5000 branch employee network
Manage the Retail Resource Center, the division’s intranet channel; oversee content design and development following internal brand standards and industry best practices. Ensure information on the RRC (directly or through partner linked sites) is always current. Lead the partner/content owner governance process.

Manage set-up, testing, and launching of all mass messaging targeting Retail employees, ensuring double-checks are in place to avoid messaging to the incorrect audience(s) and that messaging is visually engaging and functionally sound.
Lead the evaluation and potential implementation of new communication delivery channels, including but not limited to video, voice, employee communication apps, text message, and digital signage.
Partner with other Retail Division teams to schedule, coordinate and execute the technical communications aspects for various divisional leadership meetings, including the quarterly offsite and Retail speaker series.
Respond quickly to ongoing requests from Retail Division leadership and other internal stakeholders for ad hoc communications support.

Participate in/support a range of other communications tasks and other duties as assigned.

Nature and Scope:
Will work with Retail Division groups and partners to assist them in educating the Retail Division work-force and meeting business objectives – work will impact the division as a whole, and on occasion, targeted geographic and employee populations.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 4 years work experience
A minimum five (5) years of experience in a professional communications position (employee communications, advertising, public relations, etc.).
Strong experience in writing and designing for a variety of audiences and for a variety of media such as email, web, print, intranet, and social media.
Experience with the development and implementation of print, electronic and online communications, including strong experience with familiarity with SharePoint (or similar) intranet platform, email templates and ListServer.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite is required.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively.

Ideal Qualifications:
Advanced degree preferred.
Technical Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with intranet page design, email templates, Photoshop and other communications design software
Excellence PC skills with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Access, Excel), GroupWise, Adobe Photoshop and SharePoint (intranet and project).
Event management experience, to include use of alternative communication channels (video, audio, etc.).
