Description:

As an integral part of the Business Line Improvement efforts, work with key colleagues across the Wealth Management division and Bank to identify areas of inconsistency and opportunity to drive business change.  Work to establish process improvement efforts, within a risk management framework, that improve client facing experiences, middle and back office processes and lead transformation initiatives, ultimately improving business line profitability and performance.  Drive significant process design and process re-engineering work; lead strategic execution; implement industry's best practices; lead process assessments and enhancements; initiate technology initiatives bringing automation to organization to drive change in a multi-year transformation effort to transform the Wealth Management organization into a “best in class” organization.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Primary responsibility for delivery and execution of Wealth Management Business Transformation, coordinating across the areas of Wealth Management (Brokerage, Investments, Fiduciary Services and Banking), working closely with all Process/Line of Business Owners and Shared Services counterparts.

 

Lead Process Improvement initiatives including standardizing processes and organization across various geographies and legal entities. This would include rationalizing activities, policies, infrastructure, control and governance mechanisms

 

Support the Leadership Team in reaching a consensus on the strategic vision and then lead execution efforts

 

Partner with other leaders in the WM organization in developing a strong, efficient and agile organization

 

Assist in developing a consistent interaction model with groups, including defining standardized SLAs, KPIs, escalation mechanisms, etc.

 

Develop a reporting framework to assist in providing periodic updates to senior management on the status of the transformation efforts and escalate issues, as needed

 

Develop communications of both strategic plans and progress updates in division-wide staff updates

 

 

Minimum Qualifications Required:

Bachelor’s degree and minimum 7 years’ relevant work experience or in lieu of degree a combined minimum 11 years higher education and/or related work experience.

 

Broad-based experience focused on business process re-engineering, transformation, controls, program management and technology implementation

Excellent PC Skills (Microsoft Project, Power Point, Word, Excel, Access, Visio)

 

Demonstrated ability to think strategically and act as a thought partner with senior leadership and key stakeholders

 

Demonstrated ability to synthesize varied viewpoints to identify an optimal solution and develop a coherent plan or vision

 

Demonstrated ability to collaborate and drive execution at all levels of the organization on a global basis

 

Demonstrated exceptional leadership, project management, analytical and managerial skill

 

Exceptional ability to communicate in written and verbal formats across various levels of organization

 

Demonstrated ability to build strong professional relationships

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters or other advanced degree preferred

Six Sigma / LEAN experience or certification preferred
