CCM Section Manager II Global Capital Markets Wilmington Trust Chicago, IL.
FUNCTION: Responsible for strategic, administrative and relationship management and planning for one or more of the Division's assigned product lines. Manages and supervises a section (or units within a Section) that provides administrative support, relationship management, product development and risk management to business and product line(s) assigned to the Division. Typical managerial scope will support up to 12,000 accounts and 20 staff members. Works closely with Division Manager, Business Council, and Client Development Sales Manager to develop short- term and long-term strategies and tactics centered upon achieving sustainable earnings growth and compliance with the Corporate Strategic Plan.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Leads, manages, coaches and mentors Unit Managers, Relationship Managers and other staff and group members to exceed expectations.
Works with all staff and group members in the development and implementation of process improvements to increase service, processing, profitability and regulatory compliance.
Ensures that staff and group  members are motivated and challenged.
Ensures that staff is aware and complies with all internal and external policies/procedures. Responsible for ensuring account and distribution of work/responsible is appropriate.
Develops and maintains key client relationships within product and business lines.
Works closely with Client Development staff to analyze pricing issues, host client meetings and develop sales strategies.
Coordinates all administrative, operational and risk management support for Section. Responsibilities include review of operative documents (pre and post-closing), timely receipt, transfer and investment of funds; fee billing management; internal and external reporting to clients, investors, regulators, attorneys and other parties associated with the accounts and relationships; account setup on administrative and operational systems/databases.
Responsible for the development and implementation of the strategy, tactics, and projects as determined by and for the Section.
Participates in the Department Business Council meetings and process.
Lead appropriate product(s) in areas that include market share, market conditions, product development, profit and loss, service delivery, client support, and others as determined as appropriate.
Exercise usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, performance management and terminations.
Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies.
Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
Complete other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years’ related experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 12 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 8 years’ related experience.
Minimum of 7 years’ managerial or supervisory experience.

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED: Certified Corporate Trust Specialist designation or advanced degree.
Demonstrates the highest level of proficiency in the use of personal computers, software packages such as Microsoft Office, SunGard's Global Plus and Account Control, and in-house software used by management.
