Citrix Infrastructure Analyst III
Buffalo, NY
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Identifies and proactively resolves issues that could impact server performance, reliability, and usability. This includes the analysis of server resources and running applications to ensure servers are performing optimally.
• Perform root cause analyses of high impact Windows server issues.
• Troubleshoot Citrix XenApp and NetScaler problems.
• Configure server resources in VMware using vCenter.
• Responsible for after-hours server changes including the addition of server resources such CPU, memory, and drive space.
• Available to be on call after 5PM to handle urgent server issues.
• Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
• Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
• Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.
Function:
Responsible for effective installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. Ensures system hardware, operating systems, software systems and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff and partners.
Responsibilities:
Respond to and resolve Help Desk escalations.
Create trending information of system issues.
Create and document procedures for work orders and request based tasks.
Analyze, isolate and solve advanced technical incidents.
Use advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues.
Complete maintenance following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), including patching, health checks, OS updates, validating of changes and maintaining operational and configuration standards.
Research options when anomalies occur; identify recommendations and review with senior staff.
Schedule maintenance changes to reduce operational risk.
Participate in project work in cross-functional teams; lead technical team within a project and provide input in design of efforts.
Coach less experienced staff on processes and technologies.
Initiate, create and document procedures for maintenance tasks and other needs.
Automate or improve SOP and maintenance tasks.
Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

Required Qualifications:
6 years’ related education and/or work experience
Familiarity with reading and digesting technical information
Detail-oriented
Proven written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer focus, including prior experience managing customer needs and multiple work priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in technology or related field
In lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 7 years’ higher education and/or work experience
Certifications or special training in related technologies
Ability to communicate technical information within the team and to immediate manager
