Basic Function
Responsible for optimizing existing Commercial Card relationships across the footprint with a primary focus on underperforming relationships.
Essential Position Responsibilities
Partner with Relationship Managers and Commercial Card Consultants to develop Relationship Plans for existing Commercial Card relationships that are not yet achieving anticipated spend targets.
Call on existing Card clients, and work in a consultative manner, to identify opportunities to optimize customer relationship and maximize program utilization.
Prepare sales presentations and proposals for existing Card clients, explaining the various services offered, and identifying bank services that would benefit the customer.
Leverage industry benchmarking tools from VISA and other internal data analytics to prioritize opportunities.
Increase customer loyalty and retention through Card relationship optimization.
Maintain strong communication with Relationship Manager, Treasury Management Consultants and Commercial Card Consultants to keep them abreast of sales activities and refer business opportunities.
Utilizing industry and client experience, participate in the pricing of products and services when appropriate.
Directly responsible for expanding the revenue stream from existing customer relationships, meeting individual sales goals, and assisting Regional Sales Manager in executing sales strategies and in meeting department goals.
Nature and Scope
The position is responsible for participating in the revenue generation, expansion and maintenance of the bank's Commercial Card business.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor s degree or four years relevant work experience in lieu of degree. Three years Commercial Card (or related product) sales experience. Good personal computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Strong sales aptitude, with the ability to work independently. Strong analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to function professionally at many different levels (clients, management, peers). Travel across the Bank footprint for client in-person calls required.
