Job Description

Supports content updates within digital channels and the development and management of digital initiatives, including maintaining the functionality and content on the website, online banking, mobile banking and other digital channels, as well as understanding customer interactions to ensure customer satisfaction. Assists with ongoing related projects as well as business development and management of vendor relationships. 
Participate in developing the Bank’s online strategy and establishment of corresponding objectives for all digital channels. 
Assist business partners with opportunities to effectively understand and work through the process to update digital channel content. 
Research new developments in the financial and technology industries, including evaluating new or existing functionality and services for the website and providing recommendations based on those evaluations. 
Establish marketing objectives and programs for the Bank’s business units to utilize the digital channel to market to their customer base. 
Assist with and/or manage the design and implementation of new functionality and modification of existing functionality on all digital channels. 
May project manage small to medium scope efforts related to digital banking channel content. 
Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management. 
Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand. 
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable. 
Complete other related duties as assigned. 
Required Qualifications: 
Associate's degree and a minimum of 2 years’ work experience in marketing, content development, user experience or project management, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 4 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 2 years’ work experience in marketing, content development, user experience or project management 
In-depth understanding of the design, build and maintenance of web sites and content management systems 
Experience with web accessibility standards 
Excellent critical thinking skills 
Excellent problem-solving skills 
Very good verbal and written communication skills 
Prior experience effectively presenting to target audiences 
Preferred Qualifications: 
Bachelor's degree 
Propensity for learning new technical skills 
Ability to grasp new concepts quickly 
Strong analytical capability (qualitative and quantitative) 
Sound judgment skills 
Previous financial services industry experience
