Job Description

BASIC FUNCTION:
Provides centralized management and coordination of key DRIVE initiatives for assigned LOB, including budgeting, overall program management, monitoring and tracking, and course correction (when required) while maintaining cross-LOB alignment on prioritization and decision-making.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide overall program management support for LOB DRIVE initiatives.
Establish processes, tools and templates for governing the DRIVE program across a variety of projects.
Development, tracking, and management of DRIVE projects
Tracking of program-level costs and budgets.
Provides directions, standards, and support for project management activities rolling up/escalated to the DRIVE Execution Office.
Serve as an Advisor to the LOB and be willing to challenge business recommendations.
NATURE AND SCOPE:
Provides technical guidance and direction, as well as strategic guidance.
The job requires a comprehensive understanding of how it contributes to achieving the objectives of the Bank. Also required is a very good working knowledge of the industry in order to contribute to the commercial objectives of the Bank.
The job covers a wide range of activities requiring advanced judgment to develop new solutions. Conclusions are typically drawn through a consequence of sequential analysis based on extensive research (that will typically be championed by the job). The job is typically required to think beyond the existing solutions, assumptions or current knowledge of sophisticated areas. The use of groundbreaking/very innovative methods is an important part of the job.
The job has an impact on the bank through contribution to professional/technical direction and strategic decisions for supported LOBs.
MANAGERIAL/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
Manages the DRIVE initiative function for assigned LOB. May have direct supervision of a team.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 10 years banking experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 14 years’ higher education and/or work experience.
3 years of managerial experience
Strong Project Management Skills

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:
MBA or advanced degree
