Enterprise Transformation Manager II

As a member of the Enterprise Transformation Team, responsible for helping to examine opportunities to simplify business process and governance, re-engineer existing processes, and help facilitate the bank’s adoption of a more Agile process framework.  Focus will be on promoting innovation, and working with business lines and support areas create scalable opportunities to utilize new technologies to improve the quality and efficiency of their processes.
Serve as the primary liaison representing the Enterprise Transformation Office working with project sponsors, project managers, overall project teams, and stakeholders.  Provide guidance to enhance effectiveness.
For specific medium-sized projects may serve as Transformation lead.  
Build and maintain a variety of mutually beneficial stakeholder relationships that advance Transformation effectiveness especially at senior leadership levels and with external partners.
Assist with the automation of legacy processes through the use of use of new technologies within M&T including Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning.
Assist with efforts to re-engineer legacy processes to improve quality and efficiency.
Contribute to M&T’s efforts to adopt a more Agile process framework.
Quickly adapt to new projects and stakeholders when the subject matter is unfamiliar.
Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
Complete other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors' degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in banking, finance, change management, product management, or project management role (9 years equivalency including 5 years of relevant experience).
Evidence of leading medium-sized, moderate impact projects.
Experience clearly communicating complex concepts in a simple manner as well as communicating verbally and in writing with senior management on status of initiatives.
Strong project management skills. Demonstrated history of delivering quality on time.
Experience handling multiple tasks and working under time constraints in support of various initiatives.
Advanced experience in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, project management and email software.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, organizational development, change management, or other relevant field.
Familiarity with the Agile process.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Banking/financial industry experience.
