Job Description

Works closely with Fund Administration Management and the Fund Administration team. Oversees matters related to expense management, financial reporting, sub-advisor/trading platform operational due diligence, regulatory reporting and custom reporting.

Work with Senior Fund Administration Manager for all projects and initiatives, such as procedure enhancements and technology implementations.
Manage and/or assist with team operational projects.
Assist with planning and coordinating implementation of all operational steps to implement fund launches, mergers and liquidations and other business initiatives.
Develop and implement controls and policies related to expense oversight, financial statement preparation, fund audits, etc.
Assist in identifying and implementing improvement opportunities. Implement new workflow, process or system enhancements to continually enhance operational efficiency.
Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
Complete other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field and a minimum of 3 years related work experience in Collective Fund or Mutual Fund Administration, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 7 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 3 years related work experience in Collective Fund or Mutual Fund Administration
Experience managing multiple complex fund administration processes
Experience communicating with Senior Management and external parties

Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in related field
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and/or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
Minimum of 7 years’ related experience in Collective Fund or Mutual Fund Administration
