Job Description

Basic Function:
Provides work leadership over a clerical unit requiring highly specialized knowledge of the products, regulations, policies pertaining to the department/division, performing work of a non-routine nature and requiring independent judgement.
Performs the most highly specialized clerical duties within the unit. May be responsible for process documentation/improvement, training, facilitating process innovation teams, and/or researching and resolving highly specialized and/or sensitive issues. Train staff, prioritize and delegate daily work to staff. Monitor workflow and serves as a liaison between unit and management. Research and resolve complex issues. Performs the most highly specialized clerical duties pertaining to assigned department. Acts as a backup during vacations, absences, etc. Assist supervisor in developing staff objectives as well as providing input in evaluation of overall performance. May complete any or all of the following responsibilities:Complete and/or facilitate special projects as assigned by supervisor or manager. Maintain databases/spreadsheets and complete daily, weekly, or monthly departmental reporting. Document internal processes and determine methods for process improvement. Produce departmental procedures and conduct ongoing training to assure compliance. Facilitate process innovation teams.Perform other projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in work experience. Minimum of five (5) years departmental/Bank experience. Strong knowledge of utilized spreadsheet, word-processing, presentation, and departmental software. Analytical and problem solving skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Excellent written and communication skills. Must be well organized with the ability to multi-task.
