Job Description

Manages quality control for all areas of MTRCC.
Review all loan approvals for compliance with approval policies and credit authority (QC)
Sign off on all rate locks to assure all waivers are approved and in deal management. (QC)
Review and compare conditions to closing with commitments and loan documents prior to closing
Spot check insurance files on a routine basis for compliance
Maintain files for all audits and quality control compliance reports
Monitor and maintain all policies and procedures for MTRCC.  Review and report on compliance with MTRCC lending policy on a quarterly basis.  Attend and provide report at MTRCC board meetings.   Provide QC function over rate lock procedures, including Investor approval and exposure tracking. 
Work with CFO on all presentations to executive management, including generation of the quarterly dash board report, summary of new initiatives and risks. 
Review asset management action plans for all watch list credits with the goal of helping to assess risk and collateral deficiencies. Work with Asset management on Maturity management to help assess refinance ability of maturing loans.  Direct asset management in proactive asset resolution strategies for watch list and defaulted loans.
Primary coordinator for all audits.
Attend staff meeting for all areas as needed to assure better communication among the groups
Obtain annual warehouse line of credit approvals from SLC any temporary increases required.
Work with origination to document all correspondent agreements and any addendums or amendments required.
Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies.
Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
Complete other related duties as assigned.
Contact with senior management and EVP on a regular basis. 

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience, or in lieu of a degree a combined minimum of 19 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 15 years relevant experience.Understanding of other businesses affecting role
