Position: Large Corporate Relationship Manager

The Opportunity:

Evaluate, source, develop, and close new loan and non-credit business with large corporations with revenues of $500 Million within an assigned territory.  Manage and cross-sell into an existing portfolio of complex loan, deposit and fee based relationships within the same territory.  Work closely with various internal product partners to cross-sell a wide variety of bank product solutions.  In addition to Commercial Banking Services, the Relationship Manager is responsible for coordinating the sales of Investment Banking and Capital Markets solutions, Trust Services, Leasing, and other Business Solution Partners’ services.  

 Primary Responsibilities:

• Source new, and service existing large corporate bank clients seeking lending and other relationships with the bank.  Develop a relationship plan concerning the client’s business and requirements, evaluate financial performance, and make relationship recommendations.

• Maximize the department’s profitability through the maintenance of a high quality loan portfolio. Follow current loans to ensure conformity with terms and covenants; maintain current and complete credit file.

• Participate in a formal calling program, including prospecting, to develop new loan, deposit and fee based business.

• Follow market trends and developments to increase the bank’s business in established and developing markets.

Minimum Qualifications Required:
Five or more years of sales experience
Prior credit / underwriting experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel using diplomacy
Ability to sell effectively to prospects, clients, managers and peers
Excellent presentation skills
Working knowledge of personal computers to include MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ideal Qualifications Preferred:
MBA preferred, Bachelor’s degree
Current experience in a similar role with a large financial institution
Current experience in the position’s geographic region
