Lockbox Quality Control - Operations Associate IV
Montgomery Park
Baltimore, MD
Full Time- 40 Hours
Hours:  Monday - Friday 12PM-8:30PM or until completion
Basic Function:
The primary responsibility of the Operations Associate IV is to ensure the quality of Lockbox operations progress target is zero defects for customers under quality control review.  Participate in gathering detailed error related information for the Baltimore Lockbox function, Wholesale, Retail and Mail Services.   Identify quality problems and recommend solutions.  Conduct internal assessments and audits as required.  Maintain thorough understanding of the business being supported and its functions, processes, and operations.
Perform the most highly specialized clerical duties pertaining to the department.
Participate in the implementation of procedural and work process changes.
Solve general problems/errors independently, refers the most involved problems/errors to management.
Verifies checks are suitable for deposit, work is correctly re-associated, and detail is mailed correctly.
Audit sensitive customers to ensure correct processing.
Perform audit of mailroom, desk, high volume, outgoing packages, transmissions and etc.
Document internal errors.
Assist Lockbox in meeting processing deadlines.
Maintain accurate statistical records, i.e. RMM, TAS, QC database.
Adheres to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with company or regulatory standards and policies.
Maintain internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal & external audit point.
Understands and follow customer specifications.
Cross-train on other functions.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the regulations and policies affecting unit.
Keep abreast of changes and trends.
Perform other duties as assigned, when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Detail Oriented
Previous Bank experience (check handling)
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Attention to detail and customer focused
Ability to perform in a high volume, deadline environment
Ability to multi-tasks effectively
Strong PC experience, including working knowledge of Outlook and word processing and spreadsheet software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Problem resolution skills.
