Network Computing Analyst II
Millsboro, DE
 
Function:
The Network Control Center Triage Level 1 Analyst is an essential part of the NCC and the operations support organization.  They are the primary identification and contact for all failed events and change assistance.  They handle immediate impact analysis for all situations.  Expertise in Microsoft products: Windows 7, Windows 2008 & 2012 server and System Center Configuration Manager. Experience with basic LAN/WAN technical skills including but not limited to servers, gateways, hubs, routers, bridges. Strong organizational abilities and be capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a professional customer service attitude.
 
Responsibilities:
Manage the Network Control Center queue in Service Center.  Specific tickets will be assigned to an Analyst at the start of every shift and new tickets assigned during the shift.  The Analyst is responsible for making sure all appropriate notes are documented.
Manage Netcool alerts.  All red (critical) alerts should be acknowledged, and have a problem ticket associated with it within 10 minutes of its first occurrence.  If all alerts are addressed then orange (major) alerts should be reviewed.
Responsible for the communications with the Help Desk, ATM Help Desk, Venders and Customers.
Make sure the turnover report is complete referencing all the daily events and the nightly changes.
Provides any assistance required during a high severity situation
Provides assistance for changes and work-orders
Escalate issues to either Level 3 Analyst, or outside the NCC
Communicate with Shift lead on all activities.
Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite.  Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
Complete other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, related field or a minimum of four (4) years professional experience in a technical environment   LAN / WAN admin including but not limited to servers, gateways, hubs, routers, bridges.
Expertise in Microsoft products: Windows 7, Windows 2008 & 2012 server and System Center Configuration Manager.
Strong organizational abilities and be capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a professional customer service attitude.
Knowledge of Netcool or other network monitoring software.

4 years’ Network Admin experience
