Job Description

The Opportunity:

Completes daily monitoring, review and approval of Bank branch and onsite ATM (Automated Teller Machine) cash orders utilizing a cash forecasting system.

 

Responsibilities:
Retrieve (from vendor processing system), process and distributes electronic deposit and adjustment notices for commercial customers
Completes daily monitoring and approval of Bank branch cash orders utilizing a cash forecasting system
Provides branch order over limit scorecard reporting to Retail Bank business partners
Complete and distribute weekly branch exception reporting for Retail Branches, reporting details late orders, armored specials, etc.
Monitors and ensures adequate levels of cash at vendor vaults. Prepares Federal Reserve cash orders based upon current balances and historical usage per vault
Complete daily Order Audit ensuring all branch cash orders are received and processed by the vendor
Work with armored vendor to schedule special service for branch service day changes/branch closing/branch relocations as needed, update branch profile in iCom system as needed
Prepare detailed analysis of branch cash orders/usage as requested by Retail Bank
Review daily cash forecasting system reporting to ensure system is functioning properly. Contacts technical support as required by improper functioning
Provide routine analytical and navigation assistance to guide retail branch employees on the iCom system
Internal and external (vendor) Business Partner interactions
Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
Complete other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Associates degree, or in lieu of degree, a combined minimum of 2 years’ higher education and/or work experience
Strong working knowledge of spreadsheet software
Proven analytical skills
Proven problem solving skills
Proven verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior Retail Bank experience
