Operations Manager III - Identity & Access Management Buffalo, NY Basic Function Responsible for the management, planning and coordination of assigned provisioning unit of approximately 10 employees and/or contractors.   Provide technical, functional and operational expertise in departmental work policies and procedures.  Makes recommendations concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations and terminations. Ensures daily provisioning processing metrics are adhered to and monitor any trending issues that impact the team’s performance. Notify management of any negative trending issues and propose remediation plan(s).  Ensure SOX Key Controls are adhered to and monitored.  Assist direct manager with audit and recertification issues when needed.  Produce monthly management reporting on team’s progression.   Essential Position Responsibilities  Responsible for the planning, leadership, problem resolution, analysis and reporting for assigned unit.  Department consists of approximately 10 employees and/or contractors, reporting directly or indirectly to Operation Manager.  Ensure that the unit managed is adequately staffed and personnel are sufficiently trained, and training is maintained.  Plan and implement new methods and procedures to make daily operations more efficient.  Implement recommendations for department policy changes and create s new unit policy changes and procedures when required.  Consistently and constantly communicates with operation staff.  Ensures all KRIs, KPIs and SLAs are met on a daily and monthly basis.  Participates and guides team in acquisition planning and support when required.   Works closely with the myAccess Role Engineering team and System Administrations teams.   Contribute to strategic planning for short and long term initiatives.  Responsible for department contingency planning and regulatory compliance.  Responsible for providing the lead on multiple projects at the department or division that impact Identity and Access Management. May represent the department on outside/external projects.   Support annual budget process and is financially accountable for department/unit.  Adheres to departments budgeted overtime.   Exercise usual authority of manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations and terminations.  Oversees training and development of direct reports.   Nature of Scope The position is responsible for the day to day and strategic direction of the department and requires knowledge of the Identity and Access Management business, myAccess application, application regulations, SOX Key Controls, integrated and affiliated technology.   The incumbent must have the ability to plan, organize and manage work of staff, ensure all KPI’s, KRI’s and SLAs are adhered to and monitored.   The incumbent is responsible for producing daily, monthly and annual management reports of departmental metrics and trending analysis.  The position with uncertainty and discretionary solutions, processes moderate risk to the organization.   Supervisory Responsibility Responsible for 10 direct reports   Basic Qualifications Identity & Access Management experience Bachelor’s Degree, or in lieu of degree four yeast of relevant experience. Minimum four years operational experience Minimum four years supervisory/management experience   Technical Skills Knowledge of SailPoint’s Identity IQ myAccess system Identity & Access Management experience Understanding of Role Certification or Role Composition process Knowledge of applicable products, systems and workflows Proficient in software utilized in the department to include MS Office (Work, Excel, Project PowerPoint) Highly proficient in Excel, able to create trending metrics and management reporting Some knowledge of process improvement methodology, business process management techniques and Combined Methodology and workflow mapping Knowledge and experience in User Acceptance testing, documentation and test script execution   Other Job Information Excellent customer service skills and able to diffuse and address customer issues in an expedient manner.
