Title: Payment Product Manager (Leader), Product Manager I

Buffalo, NY
Basic Function:
Responsible for leading key Wire Payment products that fall within the Wire & SWIFT Product-line.  Position will lead the design, development, implementation, and marketing for assigned services.  Lead efforts to ensure product/services are marketable, profitable and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead product strategy for new services in a consultative fashion
- Understand and manage product cost, revenue, pricing, and profitability
- Initiate ideas and make recommendations for new products or modifications to existing products
- Lead marketing objectives, programs, and Teams for the promotion of current and new products
- Manage all aspects of new product implementation, including feasibility, estimation,
design, marketing and communication, agreements, and sales campaigns
- Initiate needs-assessment efforts with sales force and customer service teams to identify and deliver on particular customer needs
- Write product marketing and promotional material for Marketing review/finalization
- Write Business Requirement documents to build new product improvements 
- Understand and lead actions to mitigate product risks
- Initiate Vendor and Systems reviews by leading a Stakeholder team to ensure delivery of quality products that meets market needs
- Proactively work with Operations and Systems teams to ensure delivery of a quality product that meets or exceeds market needs.
- Provide consistent leadership and strategic direction when interacting with Product Management, Sales, Systems and Operations partners
- Initiate external research and document key payment Industry trends to recommend product improvements to make (justify related business-case with buy-in from Stakeholder team and initiate projects with Technology)
Minimum Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, four years relevant work experience.
  • Three (3) years in Product Management, Marketing, Treasury Management, Payments, Electronic Banking or relevant experience.
  • Excellent quantitative skills and writing ability required.
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills a must.
  • Must have excellent follow-through skill to lead assignments and teams to project conclusion.
  • Ability to lead project Teams and work with a broad variety of people in a leadership capacity.
    Ideal Qualifications Preferred:
  • Masters Degree preferred.
  • Five (5) years in Product Management directly related to Treasury Management or Payments.
  • Five (5) years commercial or Internet Banking experience.
  • Experience leading strategic plans, marketing analyses and project teams.
  • Experience with International banking services
  • Deep attention to written detail
  • Proficient writer to produce quality documents for teams to follow
  • Leadership skills that demonstrate creating projects and driving to conclusion.
