Job Description

BASIC FUNCTION:
Individuals hired into Business Banking Product Management will be developed to eventually manage a product or suite of products offered to small business customers. Product Management is responsible for the bank’s loan, deposit, and payment products and other services tailored to small business customers. Responsibilities include identifying emerging trends, developing new product solutions and ensuring the services offered meet the bank’s profitability objectives.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Evaluate product profitability, pricing, feature usage, penetration and retention. Determine value of potential changes, make recommendations and execute changes.
  • Evaluate customer behavior, product usage, profitability and retention to make recommendations for improved performance.
  • Support campaigns to drive business, measure program effectiveness, refine and retest as appropriate. Work with field team to support field driven initiatives.
  • Support the sales force in educating them on product features, understanding individual customer profitability to aid pricing decisions, and creating targeted promotional efforts.
  • Work with bank internal partners such as Treasury Management, Digital Banking, or Banking Services towards shared goals and objectives regarding payment-related services.
  • Work with and/or manage third-party vendors and industry groups that provide payments services or products that the bank can provide to our customers
  • Resolve escalated issues with payment product solutions.
  • Review new developments in company markets, evaluating and recommending new services or new products, or the modification of existing services or products. 
  • Ensure product complies with legal and regulatory requirements. 


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in work experience
  • Thorough knowledge of PC software programs utilized by department
  • Must have 2 years of professional work experience, preferably in banking or product management

  • Experience in creating and delivering  presentations

  • Demonstrated ability to act in a team-based environment
