On a project basis, lead and participates in the gathering and analysis of information for defining project scope, business requirements, financial justification, process definition, training, testing and other organizational change management activity and documentation to support project delivery. Performs routine to highly complex analysis and research in support of business goals and strategies. Directs, defines and implements modifications to solve problems. Assists in day-to-day project support


Job Description:
Participate in, and lead where the necessary, the planning and implementation of new projects, products, programs and initiatives to achieve short and long term business objectives and strategic outcomes. May develop project roadmaps and plans.
Support the business to provide end-to-end support to business activities from initiation through execution, roll out and benefits realization.  Including all change management activities, including communications and training. 
Assists and advises the client in addressing problems/solutions, risks and issues of any scope and size. Analyses information, determining feasible solutions, articulating recommendations to project stakeholders.
Regularly communicates verbally and in writing with peer associates and middle management on status of initiatives, in a professional and understandable manner.
Ability to quickly ramp up subject knowledge understanding to support customer needs and project demands.  Develop a thorough understanding of the business unit(s) affected by the project its strategies, management, functions, processes and operations.
Supervise and take ownership of small and medium size efforts, coordinating activities and tasks across team and departmental boundaries.
Prepare and regularly update project artifacts such as Project Plans, RASCI, Charters/Project Scope Documents, Schedules, Issues/Questions and Change Requests in accordance with banks combined project management methodology
Organize, plan and support the development of Communications, SharePoint, Change management & training plans to support all aspects of the project lifecycle including implementation and the adoption of project or program deliverables.    
Handles multiple tasks  simultaneously and works under time constraints in support of various assignments.
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of two years college with at least six years experience in a technology/systems analysis or operational support environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  
Requires strong analytical skills and communication skills. 
Demonstrates a high aptitude for complex problem analysis and resolution. 
Understands development processes and technical concepts. 
General knowledge of personal computers and the ability to proficiently use project management, word processing and spreadsheet applications. 
Familiar with the Bank's business plan and strategic objectives. 
Possesses a very good understanding of the business unit's role and how they fit into the organization. 
Detail oriented, self motivated; takes initiative to learn new skills and enhance overall knowledge. 
Must possess time management skills and organization skills. 
Very good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to the target audience. 
Able to work effectively with client personnel in various organizational positions. 
Quickly grasps new concepts. 
Asserts ideas, encourages teamwork and acts as a role model when leading or directing others. 
Able to handle multiple tasks in support of various assignments.
Very good project management skills. 
Able to lead or actively participate in vendor demonstrations, project presentations, design sessions, etc.
Ideal Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
