Quality Control Analyst Buffalo, NY  
OPPORTUNITY: Responsible for various system testing activities including, but not limited to, attending project meetings, assisting in test plan development and documentation, creation and execution of test cases, and defect tracking.
 
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Attend project-related meetings, which may include: business requirements and functional spec review sessions, project team, and defect triage meetings.
Participate in post-implementation follow-up discussions to obtain feedback /input to resolve any outstanding issues.
Prepare system-testing reports as needed.
 
Utilizes skills and available resources to work with project team members (i.e.: business clients, Quality Assurance and Test Team, etc.) to develop and execute test plans, designs, and cases, utilizing departmental tools.
Document, track, retest, and verify defects discovered during system testing.
Actively participate in Employee Engagement activities within Central Technology.
 
Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies.

Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
 
Complete other related duties as assigned.
 
NATURE AND SCOPE: Participate in project sessions with business and technical groups to understand project goals in order to design system tests plans/cases.  Utilizing the test cases developed, conduct system testing, ensuring proper documentation requirements are met and maintained.
The incumbent works under occasional supervision.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Associates Degree and a minimum of 3 years operational experience utilizing the business application/system or in lieu of a degree a combined minimum of higher education and/or work experience including 3 years operations experience utilizing the business application/systems
 
Ability to design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases.
Solid PC skills with a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
 
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED: Detail oriented.
Ability to plan and execute one’s own work.
Solid time management and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to organize/summarize information effectively.
Ability to work through several options to resolve problems/issues
