Quality Control Analyst lll/Test Lead
Wilmington, DE
Function:
Develops and maintains test cases, approaches and plans.  Conducts business validation, UAT, regression and system integration testing, and reports issues found during the test life cycle.  Creates test cases and test scripts that verify approved requirements for assigned modules, documents results, and assists with software application troubleshooting and technical diagnosis.
Responsibilities:
Prepares test strategy and test plans.
Design test cases and test scripts in partnership with the business and project resources, and condition requisite test data.
Execute test scripts and thoroughly document test results.
Document defects in accordance with defect management policies and procedures.
Lead impact assessment discussions.
Analyze test cases for regression and automation feasibility.
Ensure adhere to Quality Assurance best practices.
Provide guidance to less experienced personnel.
Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite.  Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
Complete other related duties as assigned.
Nature & Scope:
In support of the Wealth & Institutional Services business, lead all aspects of User Acceptance Testing for projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or related field and a minimum of 4 years’ work experience, including a minimum of 2 years’ application testing experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 5 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 2 years’ work experience, including a minimum of 1 years’ application testing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Agile software development framework
ALM / Quality Center software experience (ability to input data and report and track defects)
Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) knowledge
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment under aggressive timelines
