Senior Marketing Analyst

New York, NY



Manages sales and marketing support for Wilmington Trust including communications, event planning, local sponsorships, and sales support. Facilitates data entry, maintenance, and list development of our contact database to ensure that all client account information is current. In support of sales, assists PCA teams with developing client presentations. Responsible for executing all event planning items including the execution of local sponsorships, seminars and other events.
In collaboration with corporate marketing and the Regional Family Wealth President, coordinates all events, seminars and other programs for clients, prospects and centers of influence. Responsibilities include list development, communications (internal and external), event planning and execution, public relations (in coordination with Corporate Marketing dept. in DE) and post-event follow up. Works closely with the Regional Family Wealth President, PCA sales teams, and Corporate Marketing to ensure that all events/programs/seminars are properly executed to maximize results.


Coordinates with PCAs and other staff for company marketing mailings, gifts, spreadsheets and coordinates and organizes marketing materials. Manages orders, organization and tracking of marketing materials, including publications, presentation materials, stationary and business cards.


Acts as the Database Champion including list creation, database cleanup and research


In support of PCA sales teams, manages the coordination and assembly of prospect presentations in preparation for sales, investment and other meetings. Become proficient in managing and identifying key marketing/sales materials located on the marketing encyclopedia and investment database. Professionally organize and assemble information in preparation for prospect meetings.


Performs general administrative and other communication functions for the local Regional Family Wealth President, including the coordination of employee photos and updating/writing corporate biographies; assisting with budgets and marketing sponsorship payment processing and tracking. Coordinates special projects as needed (brand conversion signage, holiday card detail). Helps to maintain Wilmington Trust brand standards in all marketing activities. May assist Regional Family Wealth President with maintaining pipeline; pipeline activity tracking and forecasting; sales reporting projects and other management projects as needed.


Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
Complete other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing and 4 years' marketing experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined 8 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 4 years' marketing experience.


Thorough knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing and database software.

Knowledge of mainframe systems.

Ability to interact with all levels of personnel.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent presentation skills.

Strong analytical ability.
Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of software programs utilized by the department.
