Job Description

Position: Senior Product Administrator

Location: Fountain Plaza, Buffalo NY


Responsible for participating in the development and management of initiatives and projects to enhance the marketability and improve the function of Commercial products, particularly the Receivables product set: Cash Vault, Lockbox, and Remote Check Deposit. The Senior Product Administrator holds a wide range of responsibilities, including: project management, financial analysis, communications, training, and reporting


  • Acquire subject matter expertise for Receivables products and maintain a comprehensive understanding of M&T’s commercial products.
  • Support marketing objectives for Receivables products in order to maximize profitability and meet customer needs.
  • Coordinate and implement various marketing and sales support efforts.
  • Review new developments in the markets within which M&T operates, evaluating potential products and recommending the development of new products of the modification of existing products.
  • Assist the Product Manager in monitoring product performance, profitability and competitive intelligence.
  • Consult with Treasury Management Sales and Relationship Managers to meet specific customer needs.
  • Conduct extensive research on competitive market trends and changes.
  • Develop regular and ad-hoc reporting to support strategic planning and internal performance goals.
  • Evaluate and recommend modifications/enhancements to existing products to improve marketability and customer experience.
  • Support the Product Manager in product development, product enhancement, and project completion

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Finance, or the equivalent in work experience.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • MBA preferred with studies in Information Technology, Business, Marketing or similar disciplines
  • Understanding of Treasury Management products.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of personnel from various business units in a professional manner.
  • Proficient PC and Microsoft Office experience.
  • Ability to prioritize objectives to ensure tasks are completed on time.

  • Prior experience with developing and conducting presentations.
  • Ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel throughout the organization.
  • Prior experience with balancing multiple priorities with short and long-term deadlines.
  • Prior experience in product or project management.
  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Four or more years of banking experience.
