Senior Trust Sales Representative Wilmington Trust Seattle, WA
Basic Function: Responsible for the distribution and selling of all the products and services of the Trust division.
Responsibilities: Prospect for new clients, including branch visits, seminars, and training in order to develop new trust business and promote trust services. Prepare and develop presentation and effective sales promotion materials for meetings with potential clients and coordinate account opening, collection of assets, and transitions to administrators. Initiate contacts for developing new trust business and ensure that continuing relations are maintained with existing customers. Keep informed of current trust developments and trends and provide guidance to lower level sales representatives. Constant communication with clients, including following up on calls and working with internal referral sources and external counters of influence in the prospecting of new clients and in making referrals that result in sales. The position requires participation with other officers in the referral of new business from an existing customer base.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in work experience.
Seven years trust administration and sales experience.
General PC software knowledge.
Extensive written and verbal communication and sales skills.
Knowledge of investment instruments and tax laws.
Ideal Qualifications Preferred: 10 years of corporate trust sales experience
MBA or advanced degree
