Senior Wealth Marketer – Segments & Strategies - NYC The Position:  
This is an exciting and dynamic position supporting the fast paced and high growth rate of our Wilmington Trust & M&T Wealth Management businesses.   The senior Wealth Marketing Strategist will interface directly with marketing leadership and executive management to define strategies and programs that engage our primary audiences including business owners, multi-generational families, and centers of influence (e.g. Estate Attorneys).     This role requires an individual with significant experience in the wealth space and proven success in traversing technical business topics as well as traditional and evolving marketing strategies and programs.   Success in the position will involve persistent commitment to tangible business outcomes and exceptionally strong managerial and interpersonal skills.   Essential Position Responsibilities
•         Exhibit a deep understanding of the Wealth Management business, Wilmington Trust and M&T Bank’s core value proposition.
•         Analyze, understand, and effectively communicate insights regarding our competitors and core audiences.    Then draw on these insights to develop impactful business and marketing programs.
•         Inspire and direct the development and implementation of multi-faceted audience specific campaigns that enrich existing client experiences, foster COI relationships, and engage prospective clients
•         Lead the marketing conceptualization, development, execution, and evaluation of sales enablement programs.
•         Position and promote our capabilities and solutions to existing clients and prospects.
•         Measure the effectiveness of marketing and communications programs and utilize learnings to continuously improve our effectiveness.  
•         Manage budgets and continuously and effectively communicate our current standing and the associated value of our marketing investments.
•         Maintain the highest standards with regard to regulatory, compliance, brand, voice, and message standards.
•         Exercise managerial authority over staff to include staffing, performance management, salary recommendations, training, hiring, and termination.   Nature and Scope A significant aspect of the marketing function is to provide Wealth Management with tailored and effective marketing programs that maximize business development and other objectives.   The position requires the ability to work with colleagues and senior leaders through the Marketing & Communications Division, Wealth Management Business, Finance, Compliance, Technology, and others.   Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree, or in lieu of a degree a minimum of 4 years work experience. Minimum ten years’ experience in managing a marketing function. Minimum seven years supervisory experience.   Ideal Qualifications Master’s Degree preferred. Ten years’ experience in working in Wealth Management Marketing Three years’ experience working with Executive Management Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and a working understanding of CRM and MRM tools Experience with marketing and client data and analytics Superior written and verbal presentation skills. Ability to interact with all levels of personnel in a way that promotes collaboration and healthy relationships Sound business and creative judgment. Ability to manage marketing agency relationships. Detail oriented.
