Job Title: Talent Acquisition Technical Recruiter
Location: Buffalo, New York
Position Overview:
Manage candidate development and full lifecycle recruitment for the Technology division. Develop relationships with job seekers in person and via telephone to generate qualified candidates for multiple search assignments.  Manage the candidate lifecycle including identifying, qualifying, interviewing and managing candidates to rapidly produce a best-in-class slate of talent to meet / exceed M&T’s internal client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively work with line managers to develop the strategy to build talent pipelines, interview, qualify and recommend top candidates to the business line.
Actively and proactively attract a quality work force and maintain applicant flow in filling current and future staffing needs.
Negotiate, extend offers and effectively close the candidate.
Adhere to government regulations, organizational policies, and system/data integrity.
Build effective relationships with HR Business Partners, line management and employees.
Routinely provide insights into the competition for talent.
Attend job fairs and/or open houses.
Participate in committees and special projects as required.
Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies.
Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
Complete other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1 year recruitment experience or, in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 5 years higher education and/or work experience including a minimum of 1 year total recruitment experience.
Experience recruiting and sourcing technical talent.
Strong knowledge of personal computers and related software programs with internet experience.
Experience with Human Resources applicant tracking systems.
Ideal Qualifications Preferred:
Experience working for Human Resources within a corporate environment and contingent search firm.
Strong sales ability
Ability to manage multiple openings simultaneously
Sound experience showing fast response time, consistency and success
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Strong decision making ability
Ability to function in a high volume, fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities
