Technology Communications Analyst I
Buffalo, NY
 
Position Responsibilities:
 
Technology Communications:
  • Assists Communications Specialist in developing Technology communications.
  • Assist with creating content for the Technology Week in Review. 
  • Create Insider pages for tips and Employee Engagement, send emails and collect responses for new Hire announcements. 
  • Create pages for new hire announcements. 
  • Creating Ad hoc updates/edits to page
  • Update Important News and Tips on a weekly basis. 
  • Track weekly department page view statistics and present them at the weekly meeting. 
  • Make updates to the Technology homepage to reflect Technology Week in Review.
  • Maintenance of Technology Leadership pages as directed. 
  • Assist with drafting/updates of established communications templates. 
  • Scrub and save mailing lists to appropriate SharePoint folder.
  • Send communication from centralized email database
  • Update Important News & Information on a weekly basis.
  • Maintenance and ad hoc edits to TTRC pages
     
     
Coordinate Technology Departmental and Offsite Meetings:
  • Book rooms, request dial-in number, schedule WebEx meetings, and send calendar invites.
  • Assist in putting together Power Point presentations.
  • Set up and support meetings.
  • Sending follow up survey/creating follow up item for TWIR.
 
Minimum Qualifications Required:
 
Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field (i.e. Communications, English, Business, Finance, Statistics, Marketing, MIS) or the equivalent in work experience.
Familiar with the use of spreadsheet, database, graphing, presentation, and department specific software with a general knowledge of financial models.
Working knowledge of Windows and PC software programs.
 
Ideal Qualifications:
 
Prior departmental experience preferred.
Relevant military experience is desired
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong analytical ability and creative problem solving skills.
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel.
Ability to work independently and function as a member of a project team.
Detail-oriented.
