Manage assigned training initiatives for Mortgage. Design, develop, and maintain training curricula and coordinate the implementation of training programs.
The position may be responsible for any or all of the following responsibilities: Manage various training programs for Mortgage.  Ensure high quality training curricula and instruction is maintained. Schedule programs throughout the Bank's regions and coordinates the training in all regions to ensure consistency of delivery. Plan, develop, and write training modules for Mortgage. Develop and facilitate upper level technical and operational classes. Act as a resource to other trainers, evaluating current training situations, articulating new ideas and developing alternative recommendations.
Performs other duties, as assigned.  Additional responsibilities will include:
Training -
o   Timely development of training materials (manuals, procedural documents and job aids), as needed.    Partner with Policy and Procedure team members to ensure training materials are updated as procedures are published or changed.  Deliver mortgage training to Sales and Operations new hires (Mortgage 101, M&T Product and M&T Technology).  Solicit feedback from training participants to evaluate training satisfaction and value.  Adjust training materials and/or delivery, as needed. Be a Product Champion.  

•         Calendar and The Learning Center – Create, publish, and execute monthly training calendar.  Manage administrative needs on The Learning Center for all Learning & Development team needs including class setups (based on monthly training calendar), tracking attendance, assisting with registrations and cancellations (when needed).

•         Educational Opportunities Mailbox -  Monitor and manage the Educational Opportunities mailbox which includes keeping contact groups current, responding to incoming emails, creating and distributing communications when needed.

•         The Learning Series -  Create and distribute The Learning Series communication, as needed based on collaboration with the MSSS BAU Team.

•         Compliance -  Work with Mortgage Compliance and The Learning Center to keep the audience for Mortgage Compliance Module assignments current. Assist with the tracking of Mortgage Compliance Module completions

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in work experience. Minimum 3-5 years mortgage knowledge and experience in Sales, Processing or Underwriting.       Current knowledge of the Empower LOS. Ability to travel, as needed to deliver training.  Previous training experience preferred.  Excellent knowledge of computers and software utilized by Mortgage. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
