Job Description

Basic Function:
Responsible for managing established wholesale mortgage accounts
and establishing new business with other financial institutions,
mortgage companies, and mortgage brokers in assigned territory.


Manage a geographical territory consisting of 30-50 existing
wholesale mortgage customers. Travel to customer's business
locations on a regular basis to review customer's wholesale
mortgage needs, resolve any issues and to promote new bank
products. Promote new business with potential customers through
trade shows and cold calling. Develops a potential customer
recommendation through the review of financial statements, credit
data and other pertinent information. Performs training seminars and
manages loan quality for existing accounts.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree, or equivalent in work experience.  Two to three
years mortgage origination experience.  General knowledge of
personal computers and software programs utilized by Residential
Mortgage Department.  Thorough knowledge of FHA/VA regulations,
conventional loan requirements and real estate law.  Proven sales
ability.  Strong mathematical skills.  Ability to interact with
individuals at all income levels and peers in a professional manner. 
Demonstrated ability to work independently and to follow through on
details to completion.  Willingness to spend over 80% of week on
